CSM volleyball selected as #8 seed for NCAA Division II Central Region Tournament
GOLDEN, Colo. - The Colorado School of Mines volleyball team has qualified as the #8 seed in the 2009 NCAA Division II Central Region Tournament, which will be held on Thursday - Saturday, November 19th - 21st, at the Gangelhoff Center in St. Paul, Minn. (hosted by Concordia University, St. Paul).
The Orediggers (22-9 overall) will face top-seeded Concordia - St. Paul (31-0 overall) in the Quarterfinals on Thursday at 6 :30 p.m. MST (7:30 p.m. CST in St. Paul, Minn.). Concordia - St. Paul is the #1 ranked team in the country.
The winner of the Quarterfinal match between #8 CSM / #1 Concordia - St. Paul will move on to face the winner of the Quarterfinal match between #5 Minnesota State University, Mankato / #4 Wayne State (Neb.) College in the Semifinals on Friday at 7:30 p.m. MST (8:30 p.m. CST).
The Championship Match will be held on Saturday at 6:00 p.m. MST (7:00 p.m. CST).
