Rothman was named Head Men's and Women's Swimming & Diving Coach / Aquatics Director at CSM in May of 2010. Rothman, who served as the Orediggers' Interim Head Men's and Women's Swimming & Diving Coach in the spring of 2010, previously served as the Assistant Men's and Women's Swimming Coach for the past two years.

Swimmers Angel Forsling, Andrew Zerwick and Kevin Shaw all earned Honorable Mention All-American honors (top 16 finish) at the 2010 NCAA Division II Swimming & Diving National Championships.

Rothman came to CSM from the University of Colorado, where he led the Buffaloes' club team to back-to-back ASA National Championships in 2007 and 2008.

In 2005 and 2006, Rothman finished in the top ten in the PAC 10 in the 400 IM (9th, 2005) and 200 backstroke (9th, 2006) at the University of Arizona. Rothman swam for the Wildcats for three seasons.

During his prep career at Evergreen H.S., Rothman was a eight-time NISCA All-American and four-time State Champion.

Rothman earned his undergraduate degree in art history from University of Colorado - Denver in 2009.

Rothman currently resides in Boulder, Colo. with his wife Kelly.
