CSM swimming & diving squads earn CSCAA Team Scholar All-American honors

GOLDEN, Colo. – The Colorado School of
Mines men’s and women’s swimming & diving teams
both earned CSCAA (College Swimming Coaches Association of America)
Division II Team Scholar All-American honors.
The Oredigger women posted a 3.43 cumulative grade point average
during the 2009 fall semester which was the fourth highest GPA
among Division II schools. The CSM men posted a 3.10 cumulative
grade point average during the 2009 fall semester which was the
sixth highest GPA among Division II schools.
The two squads had a total of 12 student-athletes earn Academic
All-RMAC honors during the 2009 season.
The Orediggers will host the RMAC Swimming & Diving
Championships beginning on Thursday, Feb. 11th in Arvada, Colo. at
Meyers Pool at 9:00 am. Those athletes that qualify will compete at
the 2010 NCAA Division II Swimming & Diving Championships from
March 10th-13th in Canton, Ohio.
