Dennis and Moore named RMAC Divers of the Week for third straight week

GOLDEN, Colo. - Colorado School of Mines' Jesse Dennis and Sarah Moore have been named Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Men's and Women's Diver of the Week as announced on Wednesday evening by the RMAC. This is the third consecutive week that Dennis and Moore have received this honor.
Dennis, a sophomore from Kirkland, Ariz. (Yavapi C.C.), was the lone diver in a dual meet against Morningside College hosted by the University of Nebraska-Kearney on Saturday, Oct. 24th. Dennis scored 277.65 in the 1-meter event and 158.80 on the 3-meter event.
The 2009-10 RMAC Pre-Season Men's Diver of the
Year, Dennis won the 1-meter and 3-meter event in both the 6-dive
(276.65 and 231.50) and 11-dive (467.20 and 497.35) format at the
Rocky Mountain Invitational, which qualified him for the NCAA
Division II National Championships. Dennis was selected as the
Men's Diver of the Year at the conclusion of the 2008-09 season
winning both the 1-meter and 3-meter events at the 2009 RMAC
Championships.
Moore, a freshman from Littleton, Colo. (Chatfield H.S.) won both
the 1-meter and 3-meter event in a dual meet against UNK and
Morningside College. Moore scored 224.35 in the 1-meter event and
273.45 in the 3-meter event. Moore's score in the 3-meter event was
high enough to qualify her for the NCAA Championships a second
time.
The Orediggers will compete in a dual meet at Colorado College on Saturday, Nov. 7th scheduled to start at 12:00 pm.
