KANSAS CITY, Kan. – For the second year in a row, Colorado School of Mines men's soccer senior defender Zach Page-Belknap was named a Men's College Division All-West Region Scholar by the NSCAA, collecting First Team honors earlier this week from the association offices.
A NSCAA Honorable Mention College Scholar All-West Region choice in 2011, Page-Belknap was one of just two RMAC student-athletes to be named to the 11-player First Team.
A senior from Evergreen, Page-Belknap has compiled a 3.67 cumulative grade point average in Chemical and Biochemical Engineering at Mines.
He anchored a Mines' defensive third that ranked third in the RMAC with a goals against average of 1.07 and allowed the third fewest goals with 23. Offensively, the 2012 Third Team All-RMAC selection tied for second on the team with five scores and third with 13 points.
Page-Belknap is also a two-time RMAC First Team All-Academic and Capital One First Team Academic All-District choice, earning both accolades the past two seasons.
