Orediggers earn runner-up honors, Rangers place seventh at CSM / Regis University Fall Invitational

AURORA, Colo. - Co-hosts Colorado School of Mines and Regis University finished second and seventh, respectively, at the Colorado School of Mines / Regis University Fall Invitational, which was held on Monday and Tuesday, October 12th and 13th, at Blackstone Country Club (par 72) in Aurora, Colo. The tournament was comprised of two 18-hole rounds.

Johnson & Wales University (Fla.) posted a two-day, two-round team stroke total of 580 (+4) to finish five strokes ahead of runner-up Colorado School of Mines (585; +9). Wayland Baptist University (593; +17) placed third while Colorado State University - Pueblo and Southwest Baptist tied for fourth place at +20 (596).
Johnson & Wales' Joonas Hinkkanen (70, 70) finished atop the
individual leaderboard at -4 while Southwest Baptist's Brad Nipper
(71, 72) came in second at -1. Johnson & Wales' Greg
Belsito (71, 73) and Mines' Cory Bacon (75, 69) tied for third
place at even par.
