GOLDEN – After securing its sixth-straight winning season and the 11th in 13 seasons under head coach Bob Stitt, the Colorado School of Mines football program inked 34 student-athletes to National Letters of Intent on Wednesday during National Signing Day.
"This year's class of recruits is one of the largest in program history and that has allowed us to fill all of our positional needs," said Stitt. "This group of student-athletes is high-caliber and high-character, and they will continue the winning tradition of Mines Football both on and off the field."
The 34 additions were comprised of student-athletes from eight different states, led by Colorado with 14.
There are 17 total signees that are slated to suit up for the defense while 17 members of the class will spend its time donning the Silver & Blue as part of the Oredigger offensive unit.
